Einen Hang zu noblem Schreibgerät haben am Ende der vergangenen Wahlperiode zahlreiche Abgeordnete des Bundestages entwickelt.
Nach einem Bericht der "Bild"-Zeitung bestellten 115 Parlamentarier 396 Füllfederhalter und Stifte einer teuren Marke im Wert von 68.800 Euro - bezahlt aus Steuergeldern. Allein von August bis Oktober seien 216 Stifte ausgeteilt worden, berichtet die Zeitung unter Berufung auf die Bundestagsverwaltung.
Sogar Abgeordnete, bei denen klar war, dass sie aus dem Parlament ausscheiden werden, hätten noch eine ganze Reihe Füller geordert"

Sollte es jemals ein Gesetz geben, das den privaten Goldbesitz verbietet, wird es vielleicht wenigstens mit einem goldenen Füller unterschrieben werden...

Mr Van Rompuy’s contentious remarks were aired privately amid the grand surroundings of the Castle of the Valley of the Duchess near Brussels. The château hosted the talks on the Treaty of Rome in 1957 that launched the European Union.
His office released parts of his speech in which he talked of funding social welfare from new green taxes and went on to discuss “financing levies at European level”, which his spokesman said later was similar to Gordon Brown’s call for an international tax on financial transactions."

"The financing of the welfare state, irrespective of the social reform we implement, will require new resources,” Mr Van Rompuy told European and American guests, who included Henry Kissinger. The former US Secretary of State is cited as the inspiration for an EU president following his reported remark: “Who do I call when I want to call Europe?”

2011: United States of Earth: Obama's Coup fails

It is the year 2011. The United States has become saturated with suspicion and unrest. Since early 2010, President Barack Obama, President Felipe Calderon of Mexico, and Prime Minister Stephan Harper of Canada have been conducting private meetings with each other and various political heads of the U.N. None of the meetings are open to the media, let alone the public.

Americans, thoroughly disgusted with the socialistic programs that have been thrust upon them over the last few years, vote out seventeen of the nineteen Democrats in the Senate and 178 in Congress that were up for reelection.

The secrecy of the President became an issue tacked onto the political platforms of candidates running for the Senate and Congress in the November 2010 elections. When asked for his opinion on this monumental power shift in favor of liberty-minded Republicans during the November elections, President Obama is quoted as saying the elections were "ultimately inconsequential;" he allowed the cryptic statement to stand alone and said nothing more on the subject until January's swearing-in ceremony.

In January 2011, two days prior to the swearing-in of the new Senators and Congressmen, President Obama holds an emergency conference that interrupts the regular broadcasting of every station in the United States, and is replayed on major news networks throughout the day. The news is horrifying, and the ramifications of what the president has said have a numbing effect on the public.

Private Ownership of firearms has been outlawed, and Obama has promised a new era of equality and peace. Unfortunately for Obama, Americans would not act like the sheep he had taken them for.

In the course of this very broadcast, Obama, with two simple pen strokes, signs the "treaties" into law. One dissolves the United States and its Constitution, and the other disarms what is left of the gun-owning United States citizenry, as part and parcel of a United Nations Treaty to ban all firearms, which had already been signed into law by over 40 nations. The Marxist Coup Had begun! It was obvious that Obama's employees and czars were followers of Marx including Holdren, Sunstein, Lloyd at the FCC, Ron Bloom the Manufacturing Czar, Anita Dunn - all caught on tape and back in 2009! The Federal Reserve has two counties under control. The Cong, also un-affectionately known by patriots as the American Politboro, consists of former Democratic Congressional Leaders and control two counties. The Americorp Civil Defense Forces control four counties. A group of Obama loyalists, mostly comprised of members of the Black Tigers and the Nation of Malsi, have a grip on 3 more counties. Patriot revolution is exploding in every county with a rage unseen since the first American Revolution. Patriots from all over the United States are closing in on them.

With the Joint Chiefs of Staff guaranteeing the nationwide free elections 60 days after Obama's capture, it seems America's Second Revolution is nearly at an end.

Southpark, Glenn Beck und die USA

Als langjähriger Fan von Southpark, habe ich mich wie (beinahe) immer köstlich amüsiert, als Eric Cartmann in der jüngsten Folge "Dancing with Smurfs" einen reaktionär-konservativen Talkmaster spielt, der stark an Glenn Beck angelehnt ist und ihn so veräppelt. Allerdings hätte ich nicht gedacht, daß die angeblich libertären Macher Becks Positionen als so derart absurd karikieren. Man kann von Beck halten was man will, aber ich kenne keinen Talkmaster weltweit auf einem "Major"-Kanal (FOX News!!), der so sehr den Finger in die Wunde legt und fundamentale Zusammenhänge so engagiert für ein breites Publikum aufbereitet. Er mag verblendet sein. Aber wenigstens ist seine Verblendung stark libertär minimalstaatlich angehaucht. Seine "Ideologie" ist die Verfassung der US-Gründerväter. Es gibt verdammt nochmal Schlimmeres!

Wer ist Jane Bürgermeister?

Folgenden Artikel (Hattip Gelbes Forum) stelle ich ´mal unkommentiert zur Debatte, daß ich zum Thema "Schweine-" und "Vogelgrippe" mangels Kompetenz nichts zu sagen habe. Ich habe nur mitbekommen, daß diese Frau Bürgermeister (Burgermeister?) bei Seiten wie Infokrieg und Alles-Schall-und-Rauch aufgetaucht ist und dort offenbar als seriöse Quelle behandelt wurde (ist kein Vorwurf, geschätzte Infokrieger).

Jetzt meine Frage an unsere (Stamm)leserschaft, kennt "Ihr" die, und meinen die das Ernst, oder sind das intellektuelle Trolle? Besonders heiss finde ich die Wortschöpfung " Regressiver Antikapitalismus ". Zum Glück bieten sie auch gleich ne Begriffserklärung an.

Aber Vorsicht mit den Kommentaren, nicht das ihr die Netzklempnerin weckt. ;)

Keynes 2.0 - Löcher graben? Städte bauen!

Lord Keynes, (angeblich mißverstandener) Liebling aller Interventionisten, soll gesagt haben, daß man Arbeiter Löcher graben und wieder zuschütten lassen soll, um die Arbeitslosigkeit zu bekämpfen. Im immernoch kommunistischen China geht man einen Schritt weiter, um 8% Wirtschaftswachstum deklarieren zu können: man baut eine ganze Stadt - Ordos. In der wohnt zwar niemand, aber wie der Professor im Video erklärt, seien die leeren Wohnungen alle an Investoren verkauft. Ob diese Käufe kreditfinanziert sind und die Hypotheken dann verbrieft wurden, wissen wir nicht. Mangels Miete dürfte der Cashflow eher mickrig sein.

Britischer Humor

Die Bank of England hat gestern ihren jüngsten "Inflation Report" veröffentlicht. Die Quintessenz scheint zu sein, daß man in London weiterhin glaubt, Wohlstand herbeidrucken zu können. Lustig finde ich, daß die Zentralbanker eine vergrößerte Pfund-Note abbilden, auf der der Ausschnitt "I promise to pay..." - "Ich verspreche zu zahlen..." zu lesen ist. Das hat was, das ist Selbstironie!

Der vollständige Satz lautet übrigens "I promise to pay to the bearer on demand the sum of"...und dann der Nennwert der Note. Also etwa "Ich verspreche dem Halter auf Wunsch die Summe von...auszuzahlen". "Ich" ist wohl die Queen oder der King...Mervyn King und natürlich kriegt der Halter auf Wunsch nur eine (vielleicht neue) Pfundnote.
